Dr. Trupti Patel
Medical director & Founder
Dr. Trupti Patel is a board-certified Emergency Medicine physician with over 16 years of experience on the front lines of patient care, including during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. Known for her sharp clinical judgment and calm-in-chaos leadership, she has also served on hospital ethics committees, advocating for patients and families with empathy and integrity.
Rooted in the values of small business, Dr. Patel grew up helping in her family’s hospitality business—an early foundation that shaped her entrepreneurial mindset and deep respect for service. Today, she is the founder and owner of Uplift Skin and Body, a boutique medspa offering results-driven, ethical aesthetics for busy people seeking trust and transparency.
A passionate mentor and speaker, Dr. Patel has delivered commencement addresses and continues to guide the next generation of healthcare professionals.
At Uplift, she has championed a culture centered on provider work-life balance, honesty over hype, and a relentless commitment to going the extra mile for every patient. Her vision for Uplift is clear and powerful: to deliver impeccable experiences, no-nonsense advice, and safety-first aesthetics—with heart.
When she’s not at the clinic, you’ll find Dr. Patel with her pup Rooh, enjoying time with family, or traveling—Maui and Banff hold a special place in her heart.
Sarah Stokas
Physician Associate/Aesthetic Injector
Sarah is a Physician Associate. She was born and raised in southern California and moved to North Carolina with her husband a few years ago. Sarah was an ER technician for two years then went on to attend PA school at Midwestern University in Glendale, AZ. After working in both Primary care and Urgent Care in southern CA she discovered aesthetics is her true passion and began working for the largest aesthetics brand in San Diego, SD Botox, which was also named the ‘best location to get Botox’ in all of San Diego.
Sarah strives to use aesthetic tools to bring out her patient’s natural beauty and confidence, rather than to change how someone looks. She believes in the importance of properly consulting with and educating patients in order to best achieve their desired results. Sarah also plans to utilize her medical background and knowledge of a healthy lifestyle in conjunction with skincare products to promote the overall health of her patients and slow the aging process.
Sarah specializes in Botox/Dysport, Dermal Fillers, Lumecca IPL, Morpheus8, PRP, Sculptra and Skincare.
Emma Ripley
Medspa Manager/Medical Aesthetician
Emma is a Licensed Aesthetician and Certified Phlebotomy Technician. She graduated from Charlotte's Aveda Arts & Sciences Institute for Esthiology in 2023. Though she has lived all over the world, Emma has now called Charlotte her home for over ten years. Emma first moved to Charlotte after graduating from Benedictine College in 2015 with a degree in Business Management & Entrepreneurship. She then went on to complete her Masters in Administration from California University of Pennsylvania in 2016.
Emma's devotion to helping others feel and look their best is ultimately what led her into a career in Medical Aesthetics. And, her passion for serving others couples well with her interest in medicine and aesthetics. She is most committed to helping patients understand the long-term benefits of preventative skincare and a solid daily regimen. Outside of the office, Emma enjoys spending her free time with her husband and dogs, doing anything outdoors and trying new places to eat.

Nevaeh Dudas
Patient Care Coordinator/Medical Aesthetician
Nevaeh is a Licensed Aesthetician with a background in aesthetics and laser technology. She is a graduate of Morgantown Beauty College and relocated to the Mooresville area in 2023. Before her move, she gained valuable experience as an aesthetician at a medical spa in Pennsylvania.
Nevaeh's journey in the beauty industry began shortly after graduating from high school. She pursued a certification at The National Laser Institute in Dallas, TX, earning her license in laser technology. Following this, she furthered her education by enrolling in the Esthetics program at Morgantown Beauty College in Morgantown, WV.
The passion Nevaeh has for helping patients achieve their goals and delivering exceptional service has led her to pursue a career as a patient care coordinator at Uplift. She thrives on providing accurate and effective solutions to meet each patient's needs. She is excited to work with each patient individually to help them achieve their goals!

Mia Bella Harris
Patient Care Coordinator/Medical Aesthetician
Mia is a Licensed Aesthetician who has always had a passion for helping people feel confident and beautiful from the inside out. She graduated from the Esthetician Program at Huntersville Institute of Cosmetic Arts in 2024. She was born in Annapolis, Maryland but was raised in the Lake Norman area after her family relocated to North Carolina.
Mia knew from a young age that she wanted to pursue a job in skincare, and decided during high school that she felt a calling towards medical aesthetics. She truly wants to make a difference in the way people feel about themselves. Forming relationships with patients and helping them find the right services to make them feel confident is Mia’s top priority.
Mia loves discussing the many options available to each patient, to ensure the ultimate goal is met and they leave happier than when they walked in.
Mia specializes in providing exceptional patient service, with a warm comforting feeling.
Brittany McGuire
Registered Nurse/Aesthetic Injector
Brittany is a dedicated Aesthetic Nurse Injector with a passion for enhancing natural beauty through cosmetic injectables. She graduated with her Associates Degree in Nursing in 2019 and earned her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Capella University in 2023. Brittany is currently furthering her expertise by pursuing her Family Nurse Practitioner credentialing at UNC Charlotte.
A North Carolina native, Brittany has always been drawn to the perfect blend of science and artistry in medical aesthetics. She is committed to providing personalized, results-driven treatments while educating her patients on the benefits of preventative care and long-term skincare. Her goal is to help each patient feel confident and refreshed with natural, balanced enhancements.
Outside of work, Brittany enjoys staying current with the latest advancements in aesthetic medicine, spending time with loved ones, and exploring new restaurants.
